Campsite Noroc Maramures
Hello everyone!
We are Camelia and Pierre, a Romanian and French, settled with our children Fabian and Sophie, in a village in the north of Romania.
Since a long time we have been dreaming of making our garden as a small pretty campsite to welcome our friends and all those who like to travel, to discover nice people, beautiful landscapes … to discover Romania with all its assets and its … peculiarities.
To find us on your tourist maps, our campsite is located in the heart of Maramures, in the village called Sacalaseni located only 8 km from Baia Mare.
It is exactly the countryside-city proximity that encouraged us to develop our project. This way we have something for everyone: discover the beautiful wooden churches listed as UNESCO World Heritage or visit one of the original museums of Baia Mare, drink a beer on a beautiful terrace in the historic center of the city or a palinka with a peasant from here; a social walk or a getaway in the wilderness, the hustle and bustle, … It will be up to you!
Campsite NOROC is our little “adventure” and we hope that thanks to him we can meet you, get to know each other better by toasting with a glass of palinka and telling ourselves … NOROC!

Charming campsite hidden in the village of Săcălășeni. The sounds of chickens and wild birds add to the rustic atmosphere.The circular sanitary block has two toilets and showers and an open area for the dishes. It is kept spotlessly clean. A firepit and a small traditional house for sheltering during the rain add to the charm. The owner is very nice and welcoming. We spent two nights here and recommend the site as a base for driving further into the Maramureș region.

Good camping, the owner hospitality is huge. Very clean and nicely arranged shared spaces (eating table, chairs with table, shower etc). There is possibility for a campfire or washing clothes (20 lei each). There is a great map with location of each tourist attraction in the area. Price is also good.

Small, quiet and perfectly formed with the friendliest of welcomes. One of the loveliest campsites we have ever stayed at. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean, showers are hot and the cute cabin and firepit welcome extras. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning if we are in the area again. Thank you for a wonderful stay and great first impression of Romania.

Verry pleasent location, charming with all the details that you should find, quiet, clean and warm host. You can stay in transit or you can stay for a couple of days to enjoy trips and fun on the river, your choice. Good pricing. Kids friendly. Pet friendly

The place is quiet and clean. You have everyting you need there, from electricity sockets to showers, washing maschine, bathrooms and firepits. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, we drank palinca together and gathered around the fire. Its a perfect location to camp your tent on and relax a few days escaping the City. The Town of Baia Mare is nearby at aprox 15min with a car. We will definetly come again here! 5/5 location, hosts and quality of life camping.
