Campsite Noroc Maramures
Hello everyone!
We are Camelia and Pierre, a Romanian and French, settled with our children Fabian and Sophie, in a village in the north of Romania.
Since a long time we have been dreaming of making our garden as a small pretty campsite to welcome our friends and all those who like to travel, to discover nice people, beautiful landscapes … to discover Romania with all its assets and its … peculiarities.
To find us on your tourist maps, our campsite is located in the heart of Maramures, in the village called Sacalaseni located only 8 km from Baia Mare.
It is exactly the countryside-city proximity that encouraged us to develop our project. This way we have something for everyone: discover the beautiful wooden churches listed as UNESCO World Heritage or visit one of the original museums of Baia Mare, drink a beer on a beautiful terrace in the historic center of the city or a palinka with a peasant from here; a social walk or a getaway in the wilderness, the hustle and bustle, … It will be up to you!
Campsite NOROC is our little “adventure” and we hope that thanks to him we can meet you, get to know each other better by toasting with a glass of palinka and telling ourselves … NOROC!

Very nice campsite. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean. On the campsite you will notice attention to detail everywhere. It looks very nice. You can use the furniture inside and outside. Ask Camelia for the address of the nearby restaurant. We had a lovely meal there.

I spent there 2 nights in August 2024. It's a great place, quiet, clean and everyone is very friendly and ready to help. There is a small wood house, beautifully decorated. In my next visit in Maramures I'd like to stay here too. I hope soon.

Really clean and well kept campsite.Beautiful garden and scenery.Owner is very kind and helpful!Lots of space provided for camping.Neat little fireplace and a cozy shed.10/10 would definitely visit again in the future.

Small familly camping in the middle of the village, around 10 min drive from Baia Mare. Nice river around 10 min walk where you can swim. Nearest off licence shop is also about 5 min walk. Nice, clean toilets and showers. Very nice and friendly lady owner are on site and always happy to help. She has some nice cat over there. During our stay it was a problem with electricity and WiFi, but I guess we were just unlucky. Places for the tent are not always flat, but some trees provides a nice shadow … read more during the heat. Place also have a fridge and washingmashine. You can also pay extra for the fire where u can make a nice barbecue.

Lovely place.I would like to stay as long as possible. A lovely owner with a beautiful name: Kamelia. Great place for a camper or tent. A good base for a motorcycle tour of the surrounding mountains. I highly recommend this campsite.

This camping is absolutely amazing. It is situated in a really quiet place, surrounded by beautiful nature. The bathroom and cooking place is very clean. The host is really friendly and helpful with everything you need. We are highly recommended Camping Noroc Maramureș.

Charming campsite hidden in the village of Săcălășeni. The sounds of chickens and wild birds add to the rustic atmosphere.The circular sanitary block has two toilets and showers and an open area for the dishes. It is kept spotlessly clean. A firepit and a small traditional house for sheltering during the rain add to the charm. The owner is very nice and welcoming. We spent two nights here and recommend the site as a base for driving further into the Maramureș region.

Good camping, the owner hospitality is huge. Very clean and nicely arranged shared spaces (eating table, chairs with table, shower etc). There is possibility for a campfire or washing clothes (20 lei each). There is a great map with location of each tourist attraction in the area. Price is also good.

Small, quiet and perfectly formed with the friendliest of welcomes. One of the loveliest campsites we have ever stayed at. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean, showers are hot and the cute cabin and firepit welcome extras. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning if we are in the area again. Thank you for a wonderful stay and great first impression of Romania.
