Campsite Noroc Maramures
Hello everyone!
We are Camelia, Sophie, Fabian, Romanian and French, settled in a village in the north of Romania.
Since a long time we have been dreaming of making our garden as a small pretty campsite to welcome our friends and all those who like to travel, to discover nice people, beautiful landscapes … to discover Romania with all its assets and its … peculiarities.
To find us on your tourist maps, our campsite is located in the heart of Maramures, in the village called Sacalaseni located only 8 km from Baia Mare.
It is exactly the countryside-city proximity that encouraged us to develop our project. This way we have something for everyone: discover the beautiful wooden churches listed as UNESCO World Heritage or visit one of the original museums of Baia Mare, drink a beer on a beautiful terrace in the historic center of the city or a palinka with a peasant from here; a social walk or a getaway in the wilderness, the hustle and bustle, … It will be up to you!
Campsite NOROC is our little “adventure” and we hope that thanks to him we can meet you, get to know each other better by toasting with a glass of palinka and telling ourselves … NOROC!

Lovely place.I would like to stay as long as possible. A lovely owner with a beautiful name: Kamelia. Great place for a camper or tent. A good base for a motorcycle tour of the surrounding mountains. I highly recommend this campsite.

This camping is absolutely amazing. It is situated in a really quiet place, surrounded by beautiful nature. The bathroom and cooking place is very clean. The host is really friendly and helpful with everything you need. We are highly recommended Camping Noroc Maramureș.

Small, quiet and perfectly formed with the friendliest of welcomes. One of the loveliest campsites we have ever stayed at. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean, showers are hot and the cute cabin and firepit welcome extras. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning if we are in the area again. Thank you for a wonderful stay and great first impression of Romania.
